Use of opponent groups in phase transfer / mid-term evaluation

Christina Askløf uses opponent groups during phase transfer at Integrated Design. The opposing group reads another group's report and gives the group feedback on the work. A plan for the phase transfer and evaluation points for the opponent group have been prepared for the students in the first semester. (in Danish)

Requirements for students' reflection on the process

In the project work "Expert in Teams", Ib Christensen demands the preparation of an individual reflection report - in addition to the academic report. The individual reflection report must include reflection on the project work and its student contribution to the project. The report included in the assessment.

Guidance of multidisciplinary project groups - Expert in Teams

In "EiT" the teachers are facilitators. In multidisciplinary 5-6 person groups, the students in the course must produce an innovation within a thematic area. In the practical work on innovation, the students acquire experience-based learning with an innovation process and an interdisciplinary collaboration process. The task of the facilitator is to help students reflect on and explain this experience-based learning. The facilitator's task is not to be an expert in either innovation or the thematic area of concrete innovation. Before an SDU teacher is ready for EiT, he / she must go through a facilitator course. E-læringsprojektpuljen / E-learning Project Funding 2022

Det er nu igen muligt at søge midler til e-læringsprojekter, der kan bidrage til forankring af de bærende principper for aktiverende undervisning og aktiv læring på dit fakultet. Der er i 2022 i alt afsat 300.000 kr., som fordeles til udvalgte e-læringsprojekter, der skal være anvendelsesorienterede og pædagogisk velfunderede. / Once again it is possible to apply for funding for e-learning projects that contribute to the implementation of the underlying principle of education - Active Teaching & Learning - at your faculty. In 2022, the fund amounts to a little over 300.000 DKK, which will be allocated to selected e-learning projects that are application oriented and pedagogically well founded.

Conference: Teaching for Active Learning

We warmly invite you to attend the conference “Teaching for Active Learning” - TAL2021 on 11 November 2021 at SDU, Campus Odense. The purpose of the conference is to inspire and communicate knowledge and experiences as to how students’ learning can be enhanced in accordance with the underlying principle of education at SDU. This year’s special focus will be on Activating online teaching and learning during, and especially after, the Covid19 lockdown. Please note that abstracts do not necessarily have to be about online teaching and learning. As before, the main theme is Active Teaching and Learning, and we welcome abstracts about this theme as well.
