Teaching Large classes - May 2019
Aim of the workshop - "Teaching large classes":
When teaching large classes (60 students or more) it is often a challenge to live up to SDU’s principle for Active Teaching & Learning. This workshop introduces different methods and examples from teaching practice. At the same time, you will have the chance to reflect on your own practice and share good ideas with your colleagues.
Background:
In 2018 TEK Management set up a working group to uncover the challenge of teaching large classes at TEK and come up with ideas to overcome this challenge. The group came up with 4 principles described in the attached file “The principles of teaching large classes” ( EN)/ “Principper for undervisning på store hold” (DK). It is decided to implement this principle on TEK, and this workshop is the first one to support the necessary changes in teaching.
